Following are brief biographies of the parishioners who have prayerfully accepted their nomination to run for Parish Council. Please take a few moments to “get to know them” in preparation for our Parish Council elections that will take place the weekend of May 19th – 20th.

Mark Blau

I became a resident to West Bend and member of Holy Angels parish shortly after being married in 2007. I find it a great blessing to be part of a thriving and supportive parish community who is committed to sharing Christ’s love through worship, education, and service. This has inspired me to further share my time, passion, and talents. I am an active member of the Holy Angels Finance Committee and enjoy participating in the many Holy Angels events. For the past nine years I have given back through community events, sponsored by my employer. Kohl’s. I am a Project Manager within the Information Systems department and have a real passion for technology and “getting things done”! My wife (Amanda) and I are truly blessed with our 2 year old son (Blake), who enjoys sharing the Lord’s peace with surrounding families during mass. We are also expecting our second child this May!

Marge Fellenz

I have worked with the Outreach program for 3 years and help out at the Pancake Breakfast when needed. I have been singing in the Contemporary Choir for the last 20 years. I have worked at the church Festival for 10 years. I also count money on Sundays for the past 15 years. I have been employed at Regal Ware for the past 40 years. My husband James, Sr. and I just celebrated our 41st Wedding Anniversary.

Richard Wiedmeyer

Born and raised in West Bend, I attended Holy Angles School for first grade and later St. Francis Cabrini and West Bend High School, followed by graduation from St. Norbert College. After school I entered the Army out of ROTC for what I thought would be a short stay, but what turned out to be 37 years of service to my country. Having retired last November, I returned to my boyhood home and church and now hope to volunteer to serve both church and community in worthwhile causes. I have extensive experience in organization skills; planning and purchasing which I believe would apply to the functions of the church council. My wife JoAnne and I have 4 daughters and 1 son and babysit for 5 adorable grandchildren.

Marv Wolf Jr.

I have been a member of Holy Angels Parish for over 45 years and graduated from HA school. I am married to Debbie and have one son, Brian, who also graduated from Holy Angels in 1998. I currently serve on the HA parish council, property and grounds committee and take an active role in the Eucharist as an Extraordinary minister and lector. As a member of the property and grounds committee, I am the liaison to the Parish Council to keep them informed on conditions of the buildings and upcoming projects. Our committee takes pride, that by using parish funds effectively, the condition of the property and buildings stay in excellent shape. Holy Angels has a long history and tradition of having strong leadership in guiding the parish and stabilizing the financial outlook of the parish. I would like to continue to be part of that tradition.
